Pros:
- Exposure to all different departments, which is interesting.
- I did a lot of sales planning, which is basically supporting pitches to pharma companies/ media agencies. It's pretty interesting to learn how these things are packaged.
- Good pay.
- Office it cool.
- People care about you and I got career support.
- Other interns were very nice.
- Well recognized brand for the resume.
Cons:
- not much, really enjoyed it.
Advice for other students:
WebMD culture was pretty optimistic. Great experience.

Pros:
- Worked as part of the audit team within WebMD.
- Gained experience with Sarbanes Oxley.
- Intern project to improve one of WebMD's web properties and presented to the CEO and other management. This was thrilling.
- Friendly accounting department.
- Got to see a little bit of all their accounting functions including: Payroll, Expenditures/Accounts Payable, Corporate Procurement, Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements.
- Paid.
Cons:
None, really.
Advice for other students:
There is no substitute for experience in the accounting world.
