Pros:
- Worked on big name clients: Campbell's, Motorola, and All detergent.
- Part of the Weber Shandwick team that worked on social media management, strategy, and content planning.
- Did real work. I secured several media placements generating hundreds of thousands of impressions.
- Intern events/hangouts.
Cons:
Occasionally I didn't have too much direction.
Advice for other students:
When you're at Weber Shandwick, be aggressive. Don't wait for work and pick up the phone.

- Felt a little corporate.
Advice for other students:
My advice is to gain experience, even if it's just getting coverage for a local business. Get impressions.

Pros:
- Worked on a client CRM solution.
- Weber Shandwick is a hot firm.
- People.
- Office.
- Culture.
- Trusted me to draft and help distribute press releases. I wasn't just making coffee, I was actually providing client work and gained experience.
- The digital space is booming and I was able to work with vendors and get hands-on experience in social.
- Big, fun clients like KFC, CVS, American Airlines, and others.
Cons:
I'd love to see more of the creative production process in advertising.
Advice for other students:
Get into digital. Know that space. Know seo. Know CRM. Know ways to distribute and identify influencers online.
