Pros:

I interned at a specific store and learned everything about how to operate a Walgreens. You learn about inventory, pharmacy, retail, customer service, and marketing operations.

Cons:

Hard work, be ready.

Advice for other students:

This led to a full time job. Work hard.

Pros:

- Variety of Walgreens departments I worked with. These functions included mobile, e-mail, loyalty, and social media.
- Growing online business. I could tell that Walgreens was investing in their online marketing and e-commerce.
- Fast paced.
- Smart people and they are hiring in these departments.
- Competed in Walgreens' intern case competition. Pitched Walgreens executives on how to raise awareness for Walgreens' corporate social responsibility.
- Other interns.

Cons:

none

Advice for other students:

I loved the Walgreens internship program.
