Pros:
- Amazing people.
- Insightful seminars from senior executives and creatives.
- Exposure to all parts of the business. You really get an under-the-hood type view of how things work at Martin.
- You work on a case study project which is very, very fun (and challenging).
Cons:
The only con is that this is a short "workshop." I wish I could have been there for a full summer internship. It's also very competitive to get a full-time job there.
Advice for other students:
Loved this. The Martin Agency is an amazing place to work.

Pros:
- Presented a campaign to increase sales and traffic to a daily deals site for the holidays.
- Learned and worked within comScore.
- Discovered some outstanding techniques for consumer insights research.
- Productive feedback from executives.
- Learned the creative brief process.
Cons:
This is just a 2 week workshop, not a true internship. I don't think Martin really offers true internships.
Advice for other students:
If you want to get a feel of what agency life is like, this is the best way. Also, it's cool to see Martin in action.

Pros:
In the Martin Agency workshop, teams of around 6 are given a hypothetical advertising challenge. Ours was to come up with a campaign for a new line from Burt's Bees. I personally led strategy and helped come up with some creative concepts and a communications plan. It was a very fun projects. The people at Martin are terrific and it was easy to become friends with the other students in the workshop.
Cons:
This is a workshop, not a real internship, but I thought I'd list it on the site as others were.
Advice for other students:
People in the industry know about Martins workshop and it is respected. You also get to meet the mgmt at Martin. I would recommend it, for sure.

Pros:
Helped to Develop a communications strategy for Olympus and produced a fully integrated marketing campaign over the course of the 2 week workshop. The Martin team is amazing and the office was incredible. As an intern, I was exposed to senior leadership across the company - creative, media, account, and digital. Very intelligent group of advertisers.
Cons:
I wished it was longer and we were assigned real accounts instead of a project. I understand why Martin does it like this, but as a student, I wish they had 10 or 12 week internships.
Advice for other students:
This workshop gave me credibility when apply for entry level jobs.

Pros:
- Awesome people.
- Great feedback on our ideas.
- Martin split us into team and assigned us to come up with a campaign for Geico. I really enjoyed the competition and it simulated real work.
- Exposure to media group and analyzed print, radio, interactive, outdoor, television, and social media.
- Senior management was there for the pitch and served as part of the judging panel.

Advice for other students:
Only 15 people were accepted into Martin's workshop, so they are very selective. This is a great way to learn and get Martin on the resume.
