Pros:

- TD Ameritrade puts you through an intern rotational program. I loved this because instead of only working in one department, you get to see how the entire company functions. You'll see equity trading, client service, sales, brokerage clearing and support organizations.
- I also got the opportunity to work on a group project at the end of my internship and presented it to senior execs.
- Overall, loved the experience.

Cons:

Some employees didn't seem to love their job, but I guess that's true anywhere (?).

Advice for other students:

TD Ameritrade uses this as a pipeline to entry level jobs. Go for the internship.

Pros:

- Open culture.
- Helpful managers and internship coordinators. The internship went very smooth and was well organized. Managers were always open to talking about the business.
- You get to see all areas of the company, but I really enjoyed the brokerage operation. I may end up working at one of their branches.

Cons:

Omaha is better than I thought, but still not sure about it...

Advice for other students:

Surprising amount of entry level roles. Overall, I'm a big fan of TD Ameritrade.
