Pros:
- Intern events.
- You learn how the insurance industry works, which is a hard skill you can bring to other employers.
- Good pay and they help out with housing.
Cons:
none, the program is well put together.
Advice for other students:
Talk to as many other employees as you can. Get to know people, it might be awkward at first, but everyone is friendly.

Pros:
- Really enjoyed meeting and working with my fellow interns.
- We worked on a summer long project, which we were then able to present to corporate.
- I now understand how the insurance claims process works.
- Good pay.
- Great boss.
Cons:
I thought I wouldn't like the insurance industry, but I was wrong. The industry is always going to be here and pretty dynamic if you are in the right role.
Advice for other students:
You get what you put into it. Overall, I was a huge fan of the State Farm internship program.

Pros:
- Managers and executives actually care about developing interns, which is cool to see. They reached out to me and made me feel like part of State Farm.
- State Farm is a huge company with a variety of entry level positions. Over the summer, I was able to feel out the different fulltime roles.
- Led to a fulltime job.
- Good pay.
- Worked on a creative project and was able to present this to our state leaders (marketing services).
Cons:

Don't be timid. Make things happen. Awesome summer.
