Pros:

- Staples put on an intern events and the overall internship program gave us interns lots of social opportunities.
- Informative lunch and learns when exec would talk to us about their business line or role.
- I took trips to Boston which is close.

Cons:

- Some times where I ran out of tasks to do.

Pros:

- Able to see first hand the client and agency relationship.
- Staples has a well organized internship program and I felt like part of the team from day 1.
- Exposure to digital side of the business (especially display and CRM).
- Helped coordinate creative process.
- Friendly teammates.

Cons:

I would have liked to have had responsibility.

Advice for other students:

Before you graduate, if you can complete an advertising/marketing internship on both the agency and client side, you'll be valuable.
