Pros:
- Was able to directly applying my accounting classes to the real world. Glad I had a great accounting professor :)!
- Friendly people in general and culture was pretty laid back.
- My accounting team took the time to walk me through certain financial statements that I couldn't quite understand.
- HR was very helpful is talking me through the process and what to expect.
- I love Charlotte, NC.
Cons:
Didn't feel a growth buzz in the hallways of SPX. Don't know how to specifically explain that.
Advice for other students:
Take a look at SPX, I didn't know the company before my career service office told me about it, but I'm glad they did!

Pros:
- SPX is a large, successful company.
- Great manager.
- Team was open to teaching me about supply chain techniques.
- Good hours.
Cons:
For as big of a company as it is, SPX is not that well known. Not too many people I told knew where it was or what SPX did.
Advice for other students:
My advice is to get into the business field with some hard skills like supply chain or accounting.

Pros:
At SPX, I recieved incredible brand management experience. My team helped with a brand refresh and I participated in research, production, and make recommendations.
Cons:
Some brand work is very detailed. It's not all sit in a room and come up with cool ideas. It comes down to execution.
Advice for other students:
If you are into marketing/advertising, don't just look at cpg or agencies - take a look at other companies (like SPX).
