Pros:

- You can tell that Sodexo loves their interns!
- Worked on a green project with my university dining team. Implemented compost program.
- Promotion of waste reduction and recycling.
- Given support from Sodexo.

Cons:

Not very many people have heard of the company, even though they are huge.

Advice for other students:

Checkout the brochure they have online of the Sodexo Future Leaders Internship Progam.

Pros:

- Freedom to execute.
- Even though I wasn't physically, at the corporate HQs I still felt like part of the Sodexo team. They hire interns on college campuses, like me.
- Led information session to perspective parents/students.
- Able to create and execute different promotion and marketing initiatives.

Cons:

I'm not really sure how this fits into my long term career goals.

Take a look at Sodexo.

Pros:

- Sodexo is a solid and growing company.
- Paid.
- Pitch my own projects.
- Did a lot of social media marketing work around campus.
- Assisted team with marketing event ideas and production.

Cons:

Sometimes I felt disconnected.

Advice for other students:

Sodexo is a very cool company and they really take the internship program seriously. Their HR team is wonderful to work with.

Pros:

- Paid.
- Good experience in driving traffic to an event or experience.
- Marketing experience.
- Sodexo is a friendly company that provides great support.
- Mentorship.
- Able to pitch ideas.

Cons:

Not that glamorous.

Advice for other students:

Internships are vital as you go to look for fulltime jobs. Don't make the mistake of not having internships.
