Pros:
- Attended JCPenney TV commercial shoots.
- Cool office.
- Talent co-workers and co-interns.
- Worked on a youth marketing brief that the Saatchi & Saatchi team was creating.
- Participating in brainstorming/strategy sessions.
Cons:
Lots of meetings.
Advice for other students:
Saatchi & Saatchi is a great ad agency and well known. My advice is to watch the account wins/losses and create a resume based specifically on an account.

- People at Saatchi are incredible.
- Happy hours.
- Learning Seminars.
- I loved the thrill of new business. Worked on a few pitches and Cold Stone Creamery.
- I got a really interesting assignment, which was to research potential acquisitions for Saatchi.
Cons:
New business requires long hours, hard work, and thick skin.

Pros:
- Weekly seminar series was fascinating. Saatchi does this very well.
- Invited for a product photoshoot and commercial post production session.
- Worked with the planning team on General Mills brands.
- NYC is a blast.
- Smart planners.
Cons:
Saatchi & Saatchi only hired about 15 interns, so it's competitive to get a spot.
Advice for other students:
- Specify which department you want to work in and why.
- Find a way to generate a referral from somebody that currently works at Saatchi & Saatchi.
- Get involved in your local ad club.

Pros:
- Saatchi & Saatchi is a cool office with great people. I loved my manager, she was terrific.
- Participated in social media strategy sessions and helped to develop a twitter strategy.
- Maintained a competitive blog for client and internal account team.
- Even as an intern, I really feel like part of the account mgmt team.
- Paid and located in NYC.
- Agency intern project was awesome. We put together an integrated campaign for Folgers to reach Gen Y.
Cons:
- Creative department exposure.
- Landing a full-time job is going to be difficult in this economy.
Advice for other students:
- Get involved in Ad clubs on campus.

Pros:
- Saatchi & Saatchi is a well respected NYC agency.
- Agency energy.
- Access to a TV production shoot and the work that goes on behind the scenes to make it happen.
- Agency 101 weekly seminars across Deutch, Digitas, Publicis, Starcom Mediavest, Grey, and Oglivy New York.
- Saatchi tasked interns to compete come up with a campaign for Folgers. I really enjoyed this intern project (how to connect the brand with Gen Y).
Cons:
- Not as much digital as I expected after reading all the trades that go on and on about digital.
- Didn't get too deep into any single client.
Advice for other students:
If you are into advertising, you really should be in NYC.

- Mentorships and relationships.
- Saatchi is a well know ad agency and this lends credibility to my resume.
- Enjoyed learning about media.
Cons:
- Lots of competitive research and I'm not sure how useful it was.
Advice for other students:
It's all about client relationships. If you go to college at or around NYC, you should intern at an agency in town. Also, work hard.

Pros:
- Loved the people.
- Saatchi is a well known agency.
- Office space.
- Paid.
- Tasked with conducting surveys and interviews for research on an Olay product. Enjoyed the assignment and presenting insights to the planning and account team.
- Worked a little on research for a Red Lobster new business pitch. I love new business.
- Intern project.
- Got along very well with the other interns and we hungout a ton outside of the office.
Cons:
none.
Advice for other students:
If you can get an ad agency internship with one of the big boys in NYC, do it.

Cons:
Quit shortly after. Everyone in advertising is mad and nuts with no perspective on life.
Advice for other students:
Great internship - not so great place to work. Go to business school advertising won't live up to your expectations.

- The creative department was having the most fun.
- Health is highly regulatory.
Advice for other students:
Saatchi Health is a great place to intern. Look into connecting with one of their current employees before the application process.

Pros:
- Saatchi & Saatchi is very supportive of interns and I was able to really get involved and feel like part of the team.
- Worked hand in hand with the account management team for JCPenney.
- Creative brainstorms.
- Happy hours.
- On set for different types of production projects.
- Involved in all forms of media including TV, radio, print, and outdoor.
- Overall, the experience at Saatchi was outstanding.
Cons:
entry level account people work long hours and aren't paid to much for NYC living.
Advice for other students:
Read the Lovemarks book written by the Saatchi CEO.
