Internship Stats
RG/A hires a handful of interns across all advertising disciplines. These are paid internships and while most are in New York, NY they occasionally have internships in their San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL offices.
Highlights
RG/A has created a University within their company for employees to learn new trends and skills - how cool is that? This type of passion for their people translates down all the way down to making sure that their interns come away with a great experience.
Internship & RG/A Overview
RG/A offers summer internships in visual design, analytics, strategic services, copy, etc. R/GA is a full-service agency for the digital age. They work by asking “What do consumers want?” and then following wherever the answer leads. That can mean anything from crafting an outbound message to creating a utility or an interactive engagement. It can also mean inventing something new. But whatever the solution, we’re always focused on delivering the highest levels of ROI for our clients. There are five cornerstones to their vision: planning, creativity, engagement, integration, and accountability. *

Pros:
- R/GA's creative culture.
- Diverse and interesting people.
- Smart interns.
- R/GA is well known and one of the top digital shops out there.
- Learned a ton about the agency/client relationship that they just don't teach you in college.
- Verizon account team was great to me.
Cons:
Client services is very organizational in nature.
Advice for other students:
Get to knot R/GA's recruiters and really take your time on applying to their internship program. I think they're doing this new social interview thing, so get into it.

Pros:
I worked on the Verizon account at RGA in their client services group - which was a very large and interesting client. I gained real client experience. Also, cool office and people were great (especially boss).
Cons:
none really. As far as a career decision, I'm going to get involved in planning, tech, creative, media, etc rather than straight account services.
Advice for other students:
- Become a creative technologist.
- RGA is a great spot to learn the digital ad world.

Pros:
Applying and landing an internship at RGA was the best career decision I could have made. I got to work with extremely smart people on brands like Walmart, Unilever, and L’Oreal. I dove deep into Google Analytics, Radian6, and Facebook Insights. Everyone at the agency was great to me and took the time to teach me. The intern project/pitch was also a cool experience.
Cons:
none
Advice for other students:
Go RGA! But seriously, they do have a bunch of internships in all fields.
