Pros: Red Ventures is a young company and it's exciting to work with so many smart, fun, aggressive young people. The actual office is brand new and amazing. Red Ventures has won a bunch of best places to work awards and it shows. My boss was also a great lady who was young and taught me the core business model. The actual work was interesting for me, because I had never written for the web and thus learned a ton (especially on seo). Cons: People work hard there. It's intense. Advice for other students: Red Ventures is one of the few companies that hires a bunch of college graduates (although a lot in sales). My advice is to apply and go for it.

Pros: - Learned about direct response marketing and sales. - Gained serious SEO knowledge. - Big accounts. - Amazing office. - Team building events. Cons: Hiring process is long and tedious. It seems google-like in detail and evaluation. Advice for other students: Red Ventures is a high-growth company with tons of positions opening up.

Pros: - You write a ton. The web copy internship at Red Ventures isn't theoretical, you will gain real experience. - Company events like the Hillbilly Olympics are very fun. - Free coffee/tea. - Friday meetings often have beer. - Young company with strong culture. - I didn't know too much about SEO, but I learned a ton. Writing for the web is different than other outlets. - Amazing office. - Cool people that I still keep in touch with. Cons: - A decent drive from Charlotte, NC. - Employees worked some long hours. Advice for other students: Red Ventures is a company with a strong culture and hiring. You can't ask to intern at a better place.

Pros: - Red Ventures is full of smart qualified people that work very hard. - Company events are very fun. Management clearly cares about culture and employee satisfaction (retention). - Nerf guns. - Intern project. I was grouped together with some of my fellow interns and challenged with creating a potentially viral video. This was a very fun Red Ventures project. - Keurig coffee maker! - New and amazing office. Cons: Some of the SEO tasks can get a little tedious. Advice for other students: Be diligent with your application. Also, when you are at Red Ventures, be aggressive and don't wait for work.
