InternshipKing is doing some research into the number #1 reason students take internships. Internships are becoming increasing important and we are trying to gain insight into why students take internships. The number one reason, and only reason, why I'm currently in an internship is to gain a real life experience in my field. Once I graduate I will already know what to expect from the experience and through my internship, it's giving me a sense of pride and ownership. Once I graduate, I would like to be permanent party in the department that I'm currently interning at. I really enjoy the experience and people who are taking the time out of their very demanding schedules to show me what I can expect once I graduate. I'm learning a lot of valuable and important aspects in the field and know that only positive things will come to me through this internship.
