Pros:

- Worked within RBC Markets investment banking division. I was assigned the healthcare group.
- Smart people.
- Got along well with other interns.
- Paid.
- Assisted on a bunch of different types of transactions including M&A, leveraged finance, equity and debt financing across pharmaceuticals, healthcare services, and medical devices.

Cons:

The 1st and 2nd year investment banking analysts work hard, long hours. That's investment banking for you.

Advice for other students:

If RBC comes on campus to recruit, definitely go. Meeting the recruiters and hiring managers can give you a leg up.
