Pros:

- Quiksilver is a well known company and everybody there was terrific.
- Worked within the buying department and did mostly fashion/trend research. I performed research online and would follow fashion blogs.
- Fascinating to learn the buying process. Buyers have to be on top of their game.
- Great people.

Cons:

I did have to do some typical intern support work, but it wasn't too bad. I think Quiksilver knew not to give me too many crappy tasks since I was unpaid.

Advice for other students:

Quiksilver is a very interesting company and I really enjoyed learning the buying process. You should apply.
