More than 800 international interns and co-ops come to work, learn and even teach on Qualcomm campuses every year. All internships are paid. Qualcomm offers three- to nine-month internships throughout the school year and about 60 percent of our interns become full-time employees at Qualcomm when they graduate.*

Pros:

- Casual work environment and pretty flexible on hours as long as you put in the work.
- Good pay.
- Awesome gym (I got in shape over the summer, well, kind of).
- Housing if you need it and some money to move.
- San Diego has got to be one of the best places to live.

Cons:

You get what you put into it.

Advice for other students:

Qualcomm hires a ton of interns, so do well.

Pros:

- Legit basketball court.
- Laid back (but ultra smart) atmosphere.
- My manager was terrific. Included me in some fascinating meetings and gave me the freedom to work on projects.
- Overall, great experience.

Cons:

Engineering driven place (not a bad thing, just different). Don't go here if you are looking for ad agency type experience.

Advice for other students:

Top notch company and all interns/employees seemed very happy.

Pros:

- Smart people at Qualcomm.
- The internship program is run like a well oiled machine and they did a great job with events.
- Forecasting experience in three different divisions. Really interesting to be part of that planning process.
- Worked with some incredibly bright finance guys that were modeling certain scenarios.

Working in a corporate finance position is considerable different than working for a

Advice for other students:

Take each summer seriously. If you are doing the finance route each summer I'd go wealth management, corp finance, ibanking, then it's senior year and your resume looks good.
