Pros:
- Publicis is a terrific agency and NY is the center of the ad world.
- I worked on the Garnier Hair & Skin team. I always felt included and was given just the right amount of freedom and direction.
- I liked the variety of work. I was able to get my feet wet in social, project mgmt, planning, and performed significant competitive analysis.
- We had an intern project to come up with a campaign that would compliment Charmin's "Enjoy the Go" campaign. We were able to pitch our campaign to agency executives and the client. This was a very fun competition.
- You feel cool working in the agency setting at Publicis.
Cons:
Tough to land entry level jobs.
Advice for other students:
Get to know your other interns.

Pros:
- Worked on the internal Publicis production asset system.
- Publicis hires interns into entry level roles when they need them.
- Boss was an amazing guy.
-
- Completely competitive research updates every couple weeks on Vicks competition. Analyzed radio, internet, and tv advertisements in the space.
Cons:
Didn't gain as much creative or client experience as I wanted to. I had access to all different creative production assets and was able to see how the agency as a whole operated, but didn't get down in the micro level.
Advice for other students:
Know all of an agency's accounts and the competitive landscape.

Pros:
- Brand I worked on a Publicis included Hilton and T-Mobile.
- Intern project on launching NesCafe Dolce Gusto. The intern project was intense and we all responded well to the challenge.
Cons:
-
Advice for other students:
Put your best foot forward with your portfolio. You have to standout to get a creative internship at a big ad agency. If you can't land an internship at a large agnecy, try smaller local agency and get work produced.
