Pros:

- P&G was filled with very, very smart people. I learned a ton from my manager and co-workers.
- The Swiffer brand is strong and I was able to dive deep into sales, merchandising, positioning, and a little creative.
- Interfaced with agency.
- First time exposure to couponging strategy (this was crazy fascinating).
- Events.
- Able to use market research tools.

Cons:

In P&G you really start to own individual products, so there isn't too much cross-exposure.

Advice for other students:

Procter & Gamble has some of the best marketers on the planet. It's a great place to intern and learn about consumer marketing.

Pros:

- The is no better company to have on your resume than Proctor & Gamble if you are into marketing/sales.
- Good pay.
- Incredibly intelligent marketing organization.
- Amazing to see all the sales analysis on the backend. Made me realize how small changes (that seem insignificant) at scale, can make an enormous impact.

Cons:

Surprised at how much POP work there was.

Advice for other students:

P&G does a first round phone screen, then you'll have a panel interview.
