Pros:
I helped manage a really interesting project of image capturing for PNC Financial. This was a great 10 week internship program where I learned exactly what it would be like as a it project manager - everything from writing/confirming specs, audit the planning phases, hour estimates, etc. Also, interacted with several IT leaders within PNC.
Cons:
I like strategic tech and actual development better than project management.
Advice for other students:
Technology students are in demand, weigh your options.

Pros:
I had an incredible experience at PNC financial solutions. I helped the communications team manage social channels like twitter/youtube, created content, managed internal communications, and helped in developing geny perspective. This was really an amazing internship at PNC - the communications team is large and smart. I had a great boss.
Cons:
None really. This internship exceeded my expectations.
Advice for other students:
I found it easier to look for marketing type internships at finance companies rather than agencies (tough to land internships at ad agencies- especially paid).
