Pros:

They work you hard, but its the most amazing thing ever. Interns are treated like full hires. We learned how to use their proprietary software and got to see the entire production process in action

Cons:

None, great internship.

Advice for other students:

Work hard when you get here because everybody else does. It's an exciting place to be with passionate people.

Pros:

- Pixar's culture and office life is incredible: meals, scooters, drinks, parties, movie screenings, etc. I loved the cereal bar :).
- Everybody at Pixar is passionate about storytelling and it's obvious - an made me proud to work there.

Advice for other students:

- Pixar looks at interns for entry level spots. Get into their internship program!
- Be passionate.

Pros:

- Office was very cool. Food, coffee, cereal, etc.
- Pixar puts interns right in the mix with senior teams. It was like I was living a dream, loved it.
- Animation dailies.
- Worked side by side with world-renown directors.
- Still keep in touch with co-worked and other interns.
- Ping pong.

Advice for other students:

Apply early to their internship program and try to get to know somebody inside Pixar before you apply. Overall, amazing intern experience.
