Pros:
- Good pay and enjoyed Richmond
- Philip Morris offices are amazing and current employees are super nice to interns. Managers walk you through possible careers and act as mentors.
- I was able to work on several different projects that they had going on. Some of the projects were across departments. I loved this because it didn't pigeon hole me to just communications people and functions.
- I was impressed by how smart everybody was.
Cons:
It's kind of weird to work on tobacco products.
Advice for other students:
Huge business and great company to learn from. Overall, I enjoyed interning at PM.

Advice for other students:
Know a companies brand - where it came from and what it means to consumers. My one tip is that when you setup networking meetings, always bring something of value to the other person - don't just sit there and ask them questions.
