Oshkosh Corporation Internship & Company Overview
Oshkosh Corporation designs and builds the world's toughest specialty trucks and truck bodies and access equipment by working shoulder-to-shoulder with the people who use them.
College students can join Oshkosh Corporation either as a current student or recent graduate.
As a current student, Oshkosh Corporation offers both internship and co-operative learning opportunities. Here students can apply their academic skills and knowledge towards some very real-world challenges. This can be either at the undergraduate or graduate level. Our internship program mainly extends over summer break, but we also offer opportunities throughout the academic year. Our co-op program allows students to collaborate with their career services office for an extended term at Oshkosh Corporation, spanning a semester or even longer depending on individual school requirements.
No matter your program option, we have always viewed our interns and co-ops, not as students, but as co-workers, contributors, team members and potential future employees. Students are provided real-world projects, duties, and responsibilities. You’ll find interns rolling up their sleeves and contributing daily to the mission of Oshkosh Corporation working side-by-side with professionals across all our functional areas.
Every Oshkosh Corporation intern and co-op is developed and evaluated as a potential full-time employee, and in fact, our goal is to select the majority of our full-time new college hires from our internship/co-op talent pool.
As part of their development, interns and co-ops are offered varying professional development opportunities throughout their time with Oshkosh. Our philosophy is to offer students a broad exposure to the Company. This will enhance their experience and increase their marketability, whether eventual employment is with us or another organization.

- Able to work a little on special accounting projects.
Cons:
Not really any cons. Sometimes work was slow.
Advice for other students:
Take accounting class, you need to know that stuff.
