Pros:
- Nielsen gave me a ton of data driven experience. This was huge during entry level job interviews. Companies are loving students with big data experience.
- Worked on an RFP response for a fortune 500 company looking to do a market research branding project.
- In client meetings.
- Fun people that know media.
Cons:
- Not an ad agency. I didn't get the creative experience.
- Learning excel can be painful.
Advice for other students:
Nielsen has a ton of leadership development programs and if you do a good job on your internship, you'll get a fulltime offer.
