Pros:

I enjoyed my summer at New York Life working within their HR team. We worked closely with the product management group to come up with employee reviews, career paths, compensation metrics, recruiting strategy, and more. The work was very interesting.

Cons:

nothing really

Advice for other students:

HR is not dull. Some people discount HR, others know how to use it strategically. Find a company that views HR as a strategic partner.
