Pros:
- Access to management and founders at Fool.
- Cool office space in Alexandria, VA. It reminds me of pictures I saw from the Google HQs.
- Worked with the investment analyst team to research companies and help write material. Loved it.
- Published. Another thing that I noticed is that it's very exciting to publish online and then view the statistics behind readership.
- Learned a ton about investing.
- Learned a ton about direct response marketing.
Cons:
I wish Fool.com wouldn't ask for your email address as you read through some of their articles.
Advice for other students:
Be active and start a business. The entrepreneurial spirit is valued.
