Modea Internships

Modea hires about 8 summer interns. These are all paid internships and are located in their Blacksburg, VA headquarters. These internships are all based around web development, but include: marketing internship, flash internship, IT internship, design internship, and programming internships. 

Modea pairs their interns with creative teams and each intern receives a mentor. Interns are also assigned to real projects and produce client work. 

Modea is a digital services agency. We create results-driven digital content and campaigns for a diverse group of recognizable consumer brands.*

Pros: - Big name clients. - Smart mgmt. - Company is open and the culture is creative. - Modea office space. - I felt like employees cared about what I was doing and learning. - Just won an AdAge award. - I could tell that new business was flowing in. - High quality designers. Cons: none Advice for other students: - VT connection. - Grow out your portfolio. - Modea hires former interns.

Pros: Modea is a hot digital agency out of Blacksburg, VA and I loved interning there over the summer. They've got a cool office and the people are laid back, but smart. Good culture. Also, Modea is crushing new business. While I was there, I worked on digital projects fot Rubbermaid, Bacardi, and more. Cons: - I didn't love the competitive research. - Account management has a ton of organization work. Advice for other students: Modea hires a bunch of interns and they're growing. Even if they don't have internships posted, reach out to them.
