Pros:
- Marketing and sales experience.
- People have heard of MetLife.
- I learned about financial products.
- Boss was nice.
Cons:
- Lots of sales work. Prospecting, following up, meeting setup, etc.
Advice for other students:
- Overall, I enjoyed and learned from my internship at MetLife.
- Sales and marketing of financial products (like insurance) is different than typical finance.
