Pros:
- Well know media company.
- Cool summer project: develop a communications plan for Audi luxury cars.
- Media buying is a very interesting mix between art and science.
- Exposure to digital media buying and RTB solutions.
Cons:
Didn't get to see too many different clients.
Advice for other students:
Go to work for a big media agency like Mediacom, then you can always work on the client side.

Pros:
- Scale at which media is bought.
- I loved the insights and research piece of this business.
- Big name clients that included: Discover Card, Edible Arrangements, Husqvarna, Shell, and Subway.
- Worked a small project with the new biz team and loved it.
Cons:
I'm not in love with the digital side of the business. Display and search buys just aren't that interesting to me. Not a MediaCom thing, just a media take in general.
Advice for other students:
Know the analytic side of the business. Overall, I enjoyed MediaCom.

- Learned the analytic side of media.
- Deal size.
- Clients. I really enjoyed on the traditional and digital media planning for Dell.
- Office/culture/events.
Cons:
- Very quantitative, not too creative.
Advice for other students:
My advice for advertising and marketing students is to not look over the media side of the business. I love media and had a great summer at MediaCom.
