Pros:

- Everybody knows Marvel.
- Large scale productions.
- Actual writing. I did some writing for certain comics and speech bubble creation.
- Marvel allows interns to be very hands on.
- Other interns were great and we all bonded.

Cons:

- Unpaid, which stinks. That said, most entertainment and media internships are unpaid.
- People put in long hours.

Advice for other students:

Marvel is a great place to learn the industry.

Pros:

- Marvel taught me a ton about online publishing. I worked within their CMS (content management system) to publish articles.
- SEO knowledge.
- Marvel works on interesting content and there is a thrill of being around entertainment content at that level.
- Strategy and ideation for Marvel's Facebook and Twitter accounts.
- People.

Cons:

- Unpaid.

Advice for other students:

Learning digital skills in the publishing world it a must.
