Pros:
I gained exposure to Lowe's Store Operations Team and Financial Solutions Group. A lot of backend development work, all interesting. Good manager. Cool, new office just outside of Charlotte. Fun people and well organized program.
Cons:
IT is not core.
Cafeteria is so so.
Advice for other students:
Lowe's does a good job recruiting and onboarding interns. Overall, it was a great summer experience.

Pros:
- Lowe's summer internship orientation is a cool experience. All interns are immersed for a couple days.
- Paid.
- Real experience.
- Team.
- Had a great boss.
- Worked with different vendors and helped setup sales projections.
Cons:
Hopefully this will translate to a full time position after graduation.
Advice for other students:
If Lowe's comes to your campus to recruit, make sure to meet their team. That's how I made my first point of contact that led to the internship.
