Pros:

- Exposure to merchandising at the store level. I analysed placements, helped with in store promotions, and monitored sales.
- Paid.
- Learned a ton about point of sale merchandising. This is a HUGE strategic initiative for Kraft and other manufacturers.
- Good brand.

Cons:

- Not in headquarters, so I didn't feel totally part of the team.

Advice for other students:

Try to get internships during the school year so that you are exposed to as many businesses as possible before graduation.

Pros:

- Kraft Foods brand attracts top talent.
- Inside look at Procurement process. I was able to participate in a packing bid and performed a cost analysis.
- My team always asked for my opinion and I was able to propose recommendations to streamline process flow.
- People.
- Paid.

Cons:

Procurement is detailed.

Advice for other students:

Kraft Foods is a top company and their internship program reflects it.
