Pros:
- Exposure to merchandising at the store level. I analysed placements, helped with in store promotions, and monitored sales.
- Paid.
- Learned a ton about point of sale merchandising. This is a HUGE strategic initiative for Kraft and other manufacturers.
- Good brand.
Cons:
- Not in headquarters, so I didn't feel totally part of the team.
Advice for other students:
Try to get internships during the school year so that you are exposed to as many businesses as possible before graduation.
