Pros:
Small, lean, agency that allowed me to explore various parts of real branding projects. I had the freedom to test my personal strengths and weaknesses.
Cons:
Be prepared to take on work in varying waves. One week you can be hit with hours of work. The next week, you will be looking for work to be done.
Advice for other students:
Talk to Bob Killian. The man has so much experience in the field and the stories he shares are invaluable for any young person entering the advertising/branding industry.

Pros:
Very smart and funny people, fun work environment with soft couches and toys. Very relaxed atmosphere but things get done. Owner/bossman is very personable and hilarious. Beer, snacks, and trivia on Fridays.
Cons:
Possibly having too much freedom — I was able to make my own hours, so I came in and out at random times. I think they would have appreciated more consistency from me, but it obviously was a lesson in discipline.
Advice for other students:
You get what you put in to this. I ended up working way more than I was required to, but that was my choice, and it helped me to prioritize. This internship definitely requires self-discipline and independence. This isn't a place where you will be coddled.

Pros:
Great work experience. People you work with are extremely helpful, kind and want to show how the business runs.
Cons:
It's a small agency so not always busy. Must have your own computer to work on; which can be hassle if you commute.
Advice for other students:
You will get great writing experience. I would recommend this internship for some one who doesn't really wanna start out as a small fish in a big sea. There's no where to hide here you take responsibility for your work and if you do it well you will be given more and more responsibilities.
