Kaiser Permanente offers paid internships across all business units. The variety of internships is pretty amazing. Engineering to pharmacy and marketing to finance internships are created. All student majors are invited to search internships and apply.

Among the innovations it has brought to U.S. health care are: prepaid insurance which spreads the cost to make it more affordable

Pros: - Gained valuable experience. - Met and networked with hiring managers, which gives me a leg up for a fulltime position. Cons: The greatest challenge that occurred while I was in my internship was adjusting to the corporate environment and learning the ways of business flow. Advice for other students: The best advice I can give someone who is serious about gaining an internship is to contact the Career Center and INROADS because they can connect you with opportunities for success and help you with your job search skills

Pros: - Learned the sales process at Kaiser Permanete by helped to create strategic responses to RFPs from employer groups. - Positing analysis project that was really interesting. Kaiser Permanete let me present my recommendation and analysis. This was nerve racking, but cool. - I enjoyed the people. - Culture was laid back, but get things done. - I was taught salesforce.com CRM software which is a marketable skill. Cons: No. Advice for other students: Be proactive while you are at Kaiser Permanete and hiring managers will notice. Good luck!
