Pros:

- Worked on a huge commercial real estate project and I was tasked with running through different scenarios and presenting those to the team.
- Everybody at Jones Lang LaSalle was smart and I really liked that, a lot.
- Good people that took me to lunch/beers, etc.
- Cool office.

Cons:

Be prepared to work hard and come in and get things done.

Advice for other students:

If you are into commercial real estate, there is no better place to intern. Jones Lang LaSalle also has offices all over the country.

Pros:

I learned real estate financing modeling which is exactly what I wanted to accomplish this summer. Jones Lang LaSalle put me on real deals and I'm so appreciative for this. They also taught me a CRM tool called Dealio which is another hard skill that I'll take from the summer. I basically worked on a bunch of business development deals which gave me key exposure to that side of the business.

Cons:

none

Advice for other students:

Know excel and be passionate about commercial real estate. Don't come here just because you didn't get an investment banking internship.
