They can also help you demonstrate your potential, experience our work environment and culture firsthand, and build your network of professional contacts. Because we recognize that this is a critical step in establishing or extending your work experience, we want to make sure your work is meaningful and relevant. You’ll work on real assignments and have contact with leaders. You’ll participate in programmed events that can help shape your understanding of business challenges. And you’re likely to leave with a rich feel for how your course of study can impact our bottom line. Building great internship and co-op experiences is an important part of our university talent pipeline. These programs give us a chance to see how talented students work in our business environment and help us bring a fresh perspective to some of our most exciting business challenges. We meet potential internship and co-op candidates from December through February each year. - Loved meeting the other interns that where co-op interns as well.
- Working closely with Business Analyststo use technology in tracking merchandising.

None, this was amazing.
Advice for other students:
Co-op internships are terrific. Our school did a great job with them and placement.

Pros:
- Johnson & Johnson is a classy company and I am proud to have interned there.
- Worked with retail accounts on J&J placement and sales.
- I was able to see first hand the relationship between Walmart and J&J. This was fascinating.
Cons:
none, the experience was invaluable.
Advice for other students:
Merchandising is cooler than most people think. It's science and art and there is huge money in small moves at scale.

- Huge brands.
- Everybody knows Johnson & Johnson.
- Forecasting for Johnson’s Nursing Pads, Johnson’s Baby Wipes and other products.
- Complex, challenging work.
- Well organized program.
Cons:
Started off doing a ton of shadowing.

Supply chain is a growing field and overlooked as a career choice.

- First hand look at transformation to Chart of Accounts and dealing with Sarbanes-Oxley .
- I really got deep and was able to do some technical work.
- Johnson and Johnson loves interns and the program is well put together.
- Company/social events.
- J&J People.

I was in over my head, but loved it.

Challenge yourself and take on complex problems during your internship.

Pros:
Johnson & Johnson has incredibly smart sales and marketing people. I learned a ton working there over the summer. I worked on potentially bringing a medical product to market and everything with it - market research, feasibility, launch plan, etc. It was fascinating to see all that goes on behind the scenes.

Ask questions and don't be shy during your internship. Be enthusiastic.

Pros:
The brand mgmt work at J&J was incredible and rewarding. I worked on the K-Y Brand. They really trust MBA interns to hit the ground running. I did everything from evaluate alternative distribution channels to create a go-to-market strategy to consumer insights. Other "pros" include the exposure to sales and finance divisions, experience in forecasting, and different intern events setup by J&J.

If you're an MBA student that wants to launch a marketing career, you need to checkout Johnson & Johnson's programs.
