Pros: Loved my boss. She was terrific and allow me to get some hands on merchandising experience. I was able to go and participate in a bunch of really cool design, layout, and marketing meetings. J Crew is a great place to work. Cons: Tough industry to crack into. Advice for other students: J Crew internships are not easy to find. I knew somebody in the merchandising dept who gave hr my resume.

Pros: J. Crew just recently started a corporate summer internship program in New York. I was lucky enough to be able to participate and the experience was terrific. There ended up being 14 interns. The exposure we got at J. Crew was incredible - we were able to meet with 4 VPs and the CEO. Everybody was very friendly and helped out on our internship projects. I worked specifically on certain merchandising display areas within the store. It was eye opening to see the amount of analytics and data that goes into decision making. Cons: N/A Advice for other students: I was able to get a fulltime offer after the internship! Work hard when you're at J. Crew.
