Pros:

- Real like hotel mgmt experience.
- Exposure to front desk, reservations, housekeeping, guest services, catering, and corporate sales.
- Co-workers had a great sense of humor.
- Hyatt hires a lot of interns into entry level roles.The have a good rotational program (entry level).

Cons:

Not very strategic, more operational.

Advice for other students:

Also, Hyatt has a cool Campus Ambassador program you should look into during the school year.

Pros:

- Good company.
- At the end, I knew a ton about how to run a hotel. A lot goes in behind the scenes.
- Hyatt is a great brand and company.
- Entry level and ambassador programs.

Cons:

- Lots of hotel running tasks.
- I would have enjoyed more marketing projects.

Advice for other students:

Hyatt is a great place to have an internship and start a career. Also, during the interview process, be passionate about Hyatt and why you love Hyatt more than other hotel brands.
