Pros:
- Saw the sales process start to finish.
- Able to put together a competitive analysis for different Hershey categories.
- Open to showing me the financial data and teaching me the impact of merchandising on sales. I learned a ton about this.
- Sales techniques.
- Outstanding boss.
- Paid fairly well for a non-finance internship.
- Data, data, data. I know how important data is now.
Cons:
none really
Advice for other students:
My intern experience with Hershey's was terrific and I work there now. It's a well known brand a great way to get into the marketing/sales world - you can't find a better company to learn from.

Pros:
I know, bad joke in my review title. Overall, I really enjoyed the technology side at Hershey's. I was put in a very progressive group that was building applications and kind of experimenting with different technologies. I think some of the Hershey's tech jobs that are focused on enterprise or maintenance/support wouldn't have been that enjoyable. I loved my team - we ate lunch and did several happy hours.
Cons:
Decisions move slow.
Advice for other students:
Sure, a typical tech student wouldn't think of Hershey's, but that also means you will be a big fish in a small pond.
