Wow, this was an outstanding place to intern.
- Leading internet brand.
- High growth.
- Everybody is enthusiastic and loves being there. Amazing culture at Groupon.
- Company events.
- Groupon has a sense of humor that lives throughout the building.
- Learned a TON, about search and display advertising at scale.

When you interview or apply at Groupon, be passionate about the product. Also, they are hiring like crazy, so as an intern, you are likely to get a fulltime offer.

Pros:
- I was taught sales techniques.
- Company culture/office is very, very fun. Always stuff going on.
- I laughed a lot while working at Groupon.
- They are a very data focused company and I learned a lot about business from this.
- Great boss/manager. She walked me through everything and introduced me to all sides of the company. I told her that I was interesting in the marketing side of the business and she took me over there to meet people.
Cons:
I was scared of the cold calling at first.
Advice for other students:
- Do a good job as an intern and you'll get an offer.
- Groupon loves people that use and love Groupon, be that person.
- Be yourself and have a sense of humor.
