Pros:
- Well paid.
- Hands on experience with the web.
- Variety of web projects. I put together UX decks, interview footage, and analytic projections.
- I facilitated meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Good marketers.
- Ginormous business.
Cons:
Big company and comes with bureaucracy (especially in pharma).
Advice for other students:
I'm conflicted here. A lot of my marketing friends are going into the agency world, but I kind of like working for a company instead. I've never worked within an agency, so I can't really speak to that experience.
