Flowers Foods is a producer and marketer of packaged bakery foods in the United States. The company operates 39 bakeries that produce breads, buns, rolls, snack cakes, and pastries. The company’s products are sold regionally through an extensive direct-store-delivery network that encompasses the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Southwest as well as select markets in California and Nevada, and nationwide through other delivery systems.

Pros:

- Got to put those intermiadte accounting classes to use!
- Learned pivot tables in excel.
- Flowers Foods has some huge brands under it.
- Not a ton of very young talent, so I think I can make a big impact and move up quickly if I decide to work here after school.
- Good boss/atmosphere.

Cons:

Accounting can be painful at times. Especially audit related stuff.

Advice for other students:

I knew somebody that worked at Flowers and they helped setup the internship.
