Pros:
smaller office
-real, big-name clients
-real-world work
-respectful environment
-EVB has a good name for itself in the industry
-variety of work
-accessible head honchos
-fun office events
-snacks everyday
-EVB is growing quickly
Cons:
-cool office, but awkward layout (limits accessibility/ease of communication)
-EVB is growing fast
Advice for other students:
EVB is a great place, but like anything, you have to put yourself out there. Get to know your co-workers.
One of the best parts is that because EVB is so small, but great at what they do, there is a lot of work. Interns didn't get throw-away projects. We work on big clients, with front-facing work to show for it afterward.
You really are a valuable member of the team, especially if you're reliable and enthusiastic.

Pros:
- Work with a variety of high profile clients.
- Work closely with creative, development and even upper management.
- High energy start-up feel. Long, rewarding hours.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of agency processes.
- Great atmosphere full of passionate creative minds. Long work days rewarded with fun activities.
Cons:
- Like any start-up or small agency, people are extremely busy. Sometimes this hurts your work load. People just have less time to teach you certain things.
- The internship program itself needs refinement. It is relatively unorganized, and interns should have a specific contact within HR as well as their respective department. Status updates would be a nice addition as well.
- Some days are extremely busy and you leave at 9 PM and some days are not. I love the busy days, because it means you are working on something. When you don't have anything to do it feels like you're wasting people's time and money. If they structured this program properly, there would be less down time for interns, and overall, it would turn into a more meaningful experience.
Advice for other students:
Despite the lack of organization within the internship program, working at EVB has been an invaluable experience. At some agencies you only get to work on one account, with a handful of people. At EVB, you have the opportunity to work on several accounts and meet almost everyone at the agency. This is a must-do for students that are passionate about digital advertising, emerging tech, mobile etc. on either the account management side or the creative/dev side.
