Internship Perks
EMC provides great perks to all full-time interns and cooperative education students. Benefits include two days of paid time off for every three months of work, employee services, and professional training. Take advantage of on-site gyms at most locations, discounted movie tickets, free entry to the Museum of Science and the New England Aquarium, and an intern/co-op online networking community. We also host events for interns and students throughout the summer so you can meet fellow students, learn about EMC culture from senior management—and have some fun. *
EMC Internship & Company Overview
EMC ranks among the ten most valuable technology companies, alongside Cisco, Microsoft, Intel, and Oracle. To continue to thrive and grow, we need a diverse, driven team of talented employees. EMC offers highly competitive salaries, bonus programs, world-class benefits, and unparalleled growth and development opportunities—all to create a compelling and rewarding work environment. We hope you’ll join us.
During your internships, you will take on exciting assignments and projects in specific fields of study. Most internships are offered full-time during the summer months. However, programs are also available during winter break and part-time during the school year. As a cooperative or intern, you'll work on challenging projects that draw upon knowledge acquired from your academic training. For example, if you are a marketing student, you may conduct analysis for the marketing group. Positions are offered to students majoring in business, marketing, finance, computer science, information technology, electrical and computer engineering, and law. These positions are primarily available in Massachusetts, Northern California, and in field offices across the U.S. As an intern or cooperative, you'll generally work full-time (about 40 hours per week). However, opportunities may exist to work part-time during the academic year. *

Pros:
Well organized.
Great pay.
EMC sets most interns up with projects, which always provides work to do that is interesting. I looking into some competition in a certain market and how EMC could position themselves to client. Really interesting.
Cons:
not much
