Cons:
Doesn't have to same reputation in the technical community as it did several years ago.

Good spot for an engineer. I've got confidence in eBay.

Pros:
I worked as a product manager with the Buyer Experience (Search Apps team).
- Given freedom and trust to bring a product to market.
- eBay culture.
- Smart technologists.
- Experience in writing product requirement definition docs.
Cons:
eBay isn't the same technology brand as it used to be.
Advice for other students:
As an MBA intern, I wanted to be given real responsibility and the chance to lead a product launch - eBay enabled me to do just that. My advice is to find a company that is going to give you the freedom to ship products/ideas.
