They also have a co-op, so make sure to check that out.

Pros:
I worked in three different areas, including the greenhouse, lab and summer nursery. In the lab, I examined embryo rescue on maize, practiced tissue-culture techniques and transferred corn embryos to larger seed-germinating trays. It was all so cool!
I also performed daily maintenance and watering, grew corn for different experiments, collected data and pollinated corn in the greenhouse. We took tissue punches of certain corn plants to examine their genes in the summer nursery. The job let me experience a lot, and I even helped redesign and install a new irrigation system in the greenhouse.
Cons:
None, this is a great company.
Advice for other students:
I noticed that future employers are interested in my experience rather than what I have learned in the classroom. Internships also help with getting your name out there - knowing people can be a great way to score a job after graduation.
