Pros:
- Outstanding managers. Fun, casual, friendly (but smart) culture.
- Great engineering tech.
- Felt like the company had a strong engineering presence.
- Helped design distribution/transition lines and facilities.
Cons:
More pay. Especially for engineering.
Advice for other students:
I love Duke, hope to work there fulltime.

Pros:
- Office is beautiful.
- Good pay.
- Friendly co-workers.
- Work was pretty good. I was put in a residential power unit and worked on some specific accounting projects.
- Worked a tiny bit on a forecasting project and really enjoyed the strategy/thought that went into it.
Cons:

Advice for other students:
Duke Energy is a solid company and the whole energy field is booming right now. Overall, great internship experience.

Pros:
Solid experience, friendly company, and enjoyed my manager. Also, I was able to contribute to some complex engineering issues, which was challenging and enjoyable.
Cons:
Dealt with a lot of HVAC stuff that wasn't too interesting.
Advice for other students:
Know AUTOCAD. Overall, enjoyed Duke.
