Pros:
I was able to see all different departments. I really enjoyed the finance group and thought some of the accounting was a little dull. Managers were incredibly nice/helpful and Dow sets you up with a great network.
Cons:
Dow Chemical is a large company and with that comes the typical large company stuff - slow processes, promotion stuff, etc.
Advice for other students:
Great company that treats it's people well.

Pros:
- Great company culture.
- Shocked at how much everybody cared about me since I was just an intern.
- Engineering projects were interesting and I was taught a ton.
Cons:
It was difficult for me to figure out exactly how I could tackle large problems as an entry level hire.
Advice for other students:
Dow Chemical is fantastic, great place for a summer internship.

- Global exposure.
- Dow Chemical has a great reputation.
Cons:
Cost accounting can be a painful process, much like inventory management.
Advice for other students:
Dow Chemical has a good intern program. The accounting was more fun than I thought it would be.
