Pros:
I worked in the Display Technologies engineering group at Corning and loved it. It is fascinating work and the engineers were all friendly to me. They helped me understand the mechanics and gave me a holistic view of the market (business side) which really helped me out. In general, the pay was good, HR helps assists you with the summer move, and there are activities with mgmt/interns. It was a great summer.
Cons:
none.
Advice for other students:
I highly recommend Corning to engineering students, it's a great place and the internship program is well done.

Advice for other students:
Corning is a great place to get a peak into a corporate finance full time role. The internship allowed me to see all the finance functions from forecasting to accounting - this helped me figure out what I want to do within the finance field.
