ConAgra Foods Internship & Company Overview

ConAgra Foods® is proud to make the food people love — food that makes their cupboards seem stocked and their freezers feel full. We make food that gives people less to worry about, and more to look forward to. At the heart of the ConAgra Foods business is the food people want in their lives every day.

Our consumer foods are found in 97 percent of America’s households, and 24 of them are ranked first or second in their category. Preparing great food, being a strong partner to our customers and thinking about all of the people who enjoy our food and the difference it makes in their lives fuels our passion: making the food you love. ConAgra Foods is organized into two businesses: Consumer Foods and Commercial Foods.*

Pros:

My co-workers and superiors trusted me with important projects and constantly encouraged and thanked me for my help and hard work. I was exposed to many different aspects of talent development and management and I broadened my understanding of the field I desire to work in. I am able to work on important projects that would otherwise be given to a full-time employee. Every day I was challenged and acquire new skills. It was great to have this type of internship experience!

Cons:

Nothing, this is a well organized program.

Advice for other students:

If you get it, take it!
