Pros:

- Saw all different Con-Way departments during the internship which allowed me to figure out how a company of their size operates and what corporate roles I might be interested in.
- Having no sales background, the sales training was good for me and brought me out of my comfort zone.
- Supportive managers.
- At the end of the internship, the interns were kind of on their own which was exhilarating.

Cons:

This is definitely a sales internship, which is okay, but I'm not that interested in a sales career. That said, sales can be very, very lucrative.

Advice for other students:

Con-Way went out of their way to help students during the internship. The program was well organized and my advice is to apply and work hard when you get there. Also, soak in the training that Con-Way gives you - the sales training is a good base.
